Hunting Land and Farms: Minnesota: Fillmore County

For many years I remember this place as being one of the most scenic farm sites along State Hwy 30.  It has always been the most picturesque turn of the century farmstead with the historic log buildings, apple trees in the yard and an incredible valley view.  This property includes approximately 71 acres of wooded hills and valleys.  The timber is made up of mostly oak, cedar and walnut.  Deer and turkeys frequent the property.  This is a great location for southeastern Minnesota’s outdoor activities being under 2 miles to access the Root River and the state bike trail.  There are nearly a dozen trout streams within a 10 minute drive.  The aging farm home could be renovated or completely removed from the property.   Electric service has been disconnected from the home.  There is power to the well and garage.   The well is functioning but the septic system will need to be abandoned.  Located 3 miles west of Rushford and 35 miles southeast of Rochester.
