Real Estate In Barron County, WI
Barron County lies in the northwestern portion of the State, and is comprised of 30 townships. Most of the county is covered with heavy timber, such as pine, butternut and maple. The surface is generally level or gently rolling. The county is well watered and drained by the Red Cedar (Menomonee) and Vermillion rivers in the eastern part, and Hay River in the western part. There are many lakes, varying from two to ten miles in length. The natural beauties of the woods and streams are enhanced in value, to the sportsman's eye at least, by the abundance and variety of large game found here.
